DreamEmpire Productions & Casting is the brainchild of married couple Joyce Licorish & Jerome Davis. The name is derived from the two projects that jumpstarted both of their careers. Dreamgirls for Joyce as she starred in the Midwest production as Effie White which catapulted her stage acting career, and Empire for Jerome Davis as he starred in the FOX Hit Television show as a supporting actor and Luscious bodyguard. Together they have accumulated over 25 years of acting and performance experience on stage, film and the like and together they hope to create a new standard for independent film, casting and talent management.

BIO
Joyce Licorish is a diverse artist who has virtually done it all from singing, acting on TV and film, directing and producing and most recently writing. Her talents also include voiceovers and plus modeling.
The bulk of her career she has focused on performing and has been seen locally and nationally in the theater and center stage, performing from Opera to Soul. Her most notable local performances include several appearances with Indianapolis Opera including Porgy & Bess, Aida, Don Pasquale, and The Elixir of Love and the 2007 production of Dreamgirls where she starred as Effie White, Hairspray as Motormouth Maybelle, and the national tour of The Color Purple as Sofia.
Joyce has also has appeared on the Tom Joyner Morning Show- Sky Show and has also had the honor of opening for superstar-performers including Chaka Khan, Babyface, The Isley Brothers, 112, Confunkshun, and for Joss Stone at the world-renowned Copacabana in New York City.
